Support Staying Safe During Isolation and Quarantine

If you test positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19, we can help you and your family to stay safe and to reduce and eliminate the spread of COVID-19. The County of Santa Clara Isolation and Quarantine Support Program provides:

  • A motel room with clean linens and laundry service
    Motel with supportive services for cases and contacts who cannot safely isolate or quarantine at home or who do not have a home. At this hotel, the County offers limited case management services, three meals per day and laundry services.

    • Homelessness Prevention System (HPS)

      The Homelessness Prevention System (HPS) program provides temporary financial assistance (e.g. rent, deposit, or utilities payment) to low-income families or individuals who are struggling to maintain their housing. HPS is available to low-income (80% of Area Median Income) households in Santa Clara County who are at imminent risk of losing their housing. A pre-screening interview and questionnaire are used to determine eligibility.

    • Meals on Wheels

      To apply for Meals on Wheels, you must be a resident of Santa Clara County who is homebound and has difficulty getting your own meals due to a medical condition or isolation.

      The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the CalFresh program that provides qualified applicants with an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card.

    • CalWORKs

      CalWORKs helps with cash to pay for rent, housing, food, clothing, medical payments, and utilities for families with at least one child in the home.

    • Immigration Legal Services

      The Immigration and Legal Services (ILS) of Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County was established in 1976 in response to the growing number of immigrants moving to the Bay Area. Program staff are committed to helping individuals understand the immigration law and to know their rights under the law. The program provides a broad range of immigration counseling and representation to immigrants and their families.
