SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Today, the County of Santa Clara is unveiling a new Dashboard layout for COVID-19 information. The redesigned site (www.sccgov.org/sites/covid19/Pages/dashboard.aspx) includes revised informative charts about demographics and health outcomes of people with COVID-19, long-term care facility cases, the number of acute hospital beds, intensive care unit beds, and ventilators, as well as cases searchable by city and zip code. The goal of the redesign is to provide the public with a more user-friendly format that is easier to navigate. The new testing dashboard accounts for total tests and not just individuals tested. The redesigned hospital dashboard will now provide data on hospitalized patients from internal polling and not from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). Hospital counts now separate COVID-19 positive cases from suspected cases.
