Ready for some great news?
- Santa Clara Valley Medical Center is now administering over 6,000 COVID-19 vaccines each day to people who live in our community.
- The County Health System alone has administered 32,352 first doses and 6,594 second doses to eligible healthcare workers and to people who are 75 and older, as of January 14, 2021.
- We are on track to vaccinate more than 30,000 residents per week!
This hopeful news comes as healthcare systems throughout the county continue to expand capacity and ensure that eligible individuals receive the vaccine expeditiously with new shipments arriving each week.
